ONEIA hosts Ontario PC environment critic

ONEIA's Advocacy Committee hosted Toby Barrett, the Ontario PC Environment Critic, at its meeting on October 20, 2010.

As part of the Association's nonpartisan outreach to all parties, the Advocacy Committee will be meeting with representatives of all parties to hear about their platforms and to share the concerns of environmental businesses.  Mr. Barrett thanked ONEIA for the invitation, saying that the organization has incredible value for politicians as it "bridges the gap between the environment and business."  He went on to give some insight into how his party will be developing its environmental platform in the coming weeks and shared that "jobs will be the central issue in the coming election."
