Join us for breakfast on Aug 25 as we discuss where is Ontario going with waste policy

It’s been a turbulent year in Ontario for waste and recycling policies.  The outcome of the provincial election in October may see the province break new ground with respect to extended producer responsibility, waste diversion, e-waste and recycling and related files.  European jurisdictions have developed new policy ideas that may serve as the basis for new directions in Ontario and could provide a valuable learning experience about what may be coming for Ontario industry.

The Ontario Environment Industry Association (ONEIA) is pleased to present two leading European experts an industry-only breakfast, in partnership the Municipal Waste Association and the Ontario Waste Management Association. Ton Holtkamp, the Chairman of the Netherlands Waste Management Partnership and Herman Huisman, Senior Advisor of Netherlands Environment, waste management department will join us for breakfast on August 25.
