Post-Globe 2010:  Ontario meets the world

From March 28 to 30, ONEIA was proud to organize and host Ontario’s premier international environmental business conference – Post Globe 2010.  Chaired by Anton Davies, Vice-president of Guelph consulting firm RWDI, the event brought together more than 200 Canadian and international business people to discuss trade between their respective companies and nations.  March 29 was a daylong conference that featured a series of informative plenary sessions and breakout panels that discussed the trends and issues facing the international environment business community, complemented with networking and business matching opportunities available throughout the day.

The day also featured an opening address from Ontario Environment Minister, the Hon. John Gerretsen and a luncheon address by His Worship David Miller, Mayor of the City of Toronto.  After an informative series of discussions, the day ended with a cocktail reception overlooking Toronto at the Ontario Trade and Investment Centre, hosted by the Consulate General of the Netherlands.
