ONEIA’s organizing committee for Environment Industry Day 2014 is pleased to announce that David Henderson, Managing Director of XPV Capital, will be the Chair this year's event.  Mr. Henderson has built an extensive global network in the water sector as a respected investor, speaker and expert contributor in the area of water technology and investing.

This year, instead of our customary evening reception, we will host a special breakfast with Ontario Minister of Environment and Climate Change, The Hon. Glen Murray.  The breakfast discussion with the Minister will be followed by a networking session and a “Government and the Environment Industry” advocacy boot camp that will insight into the trends shaping Ontario politics and training on how to engage MPPs and Ministers.  

Following the advocacy boot camp, small teams of ONEIA members will spend the day at Queen’s Park, meeting with individual MPPs, Ministers, and policy advisors. Participation on the MPP meeting teams is limited only to ONEIA members!  These teams are carefully selected by our organizing committee to be representative of our broader industry, so if you are interested in participating, please let us know and the committee will let you know prior to the event if you have been selected to join a team.  The day will close with a “drink and debrief” for MPP meeting team members.
